Which kart driver do you use?
I use Koopa Troopa for races and Bowser for time trials.

How do I get an extra continue?
You will get an extra continue (giving you a max total of 4) if you finish First in three races.

How do I get the Mega Mole off of the front of my Kart?
You can run into the water or hop by pressing L or R. You should just hit L or R a few times... never run into the water.

How come items like Banana Peels keep on appearing in front of my car when there is no other driver there?
Well, it all starts with the mommy banana and the daddy banana. Then they decide...

Oh, errr, ahem.. never mind. Did that even make sense? I don't know. But anyway... The computer drivers have the ability to place items on the track at any place or time. They especially like to place them directly in front of your Kart when you are in First Position (because they are mean and evil and smell funny). You can also do this by pressing UP + A.

Which Kart is the best to use?
That all depends on how you define the "best." The best all-around Kart is Koopa Troopa or Toad, however the fastest Kart is Bowser or Donkey Kong Jr. Each track can be completed in First Position with any of the drivers. It will take a lot of practice to be able to switch between drivers comfortably. Try experimenting with different Karts to see which ones you like best.

How do I get to the Special Cup race?
You must win the Gold Cup in the 100cc Mushroom Cup Race, Flower Cup Race, and Star Cup Race. Then the Special Cup Race will be available to select. Silver or Bronze Cups will not let you go to the Special Cup Race. There is not a Special Cup Race in the 50cc class.

How do I reset all of the time records and GP stats?
On the title screen, hold L, R, Y, & A at the same time to reset the whole game. You can also reset each of the Time Trials individually. When on the Best 5 screen of any track, hold L, R, Y, & A at the same time.

How do I jump over the gap (like in Ghost Valley 1) without the Feather?
Use the Mushroom (push A) and press the L or R Buttons at the edge of the gap and you should be able to make it over. In 100cc or 150cc, you may not need a Mushroom. This method takes practice.
