Regular Codes

Erase Game Save
You can erase the game by holding L, R, B, and Start when you turn the power on.

Extra Speed Boost
When you have a Mushroom Turbo boost power up and you are about to go on a Spring Ramp, use your Turbo Boost power up, if you use it JUST BEFORE you go on the ramp/spring then you can go much further and faster.

This works on just about every course with a spring/boost on it, but I don't think it is very effective on massive red and yellow ramps...

Get a 3rd "night-time" Title Screen Background + Music
To get a new 3rd ''nighttime'' Title screen background for your Mario Kart GBA game, you need to beat 50cc, 100cc and 150cc GBA Cups with 3 star ranking. *** on each cup that is. The background is dark blue, and after a few seconds you see the Bowser Castle from Paper Mario fly from the left side and you also see some falling stars too. The music is a remix of the old title music.

Honk Your Driver's Horn
To make your driver honk their horn, press Select while racing. Each character's horn sounds different, too.

Player Select Tricks
On the Player Select screen, press L to make the rotating image of the character you put the cursor on shoot a green shell straight ahead. You can also press R to make that character jump. Do this as many times as you please, it's just a little trick to try if you want.

Special Cup In Time Trial Mode
To unlock the Special Cup in Time Trial mode, you must first get gold trophies in all four 150cc cups.

Unlock SNES Tracks In Time Trial Mode
To unlock the SNES tracks in Time Trial mode, you must unlock them in the 150cc difficulty setting (see the ''Unlock Super Mario Kart Courses'' secret for information on unlocking the tracks).

Unlock Special Cup
To unlock the Special Cup in a particular difficulty setting (50cc, 100cc, 150cc), you must beat the Mushroom, Flower, Thunder, and Star Cups and earn Gold Cups in all of them.
